Meizu m3, the successor to the m2, has been launched by the company in China, in two variants; one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space and another with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space. Meizu has opened reservations for the m3 in China on its official website. Meizu m3 16GB variant costs Yuan 599, which comes to around Rs 6000, while the 32GB storage version costs Yuan 799, which is around Rs 8,200. Meizu m3 will come in Gold, White, Grey, Blue and Pink colour options and China sales start from April 29.
In terms of specs, the Meizu m3 has a 5-inch HD display (720p resolution) with 2.5D glass on the front. The m3 runs MediaTek’s MT6750 octa-core processor with Mali T860 graphics processor. It has support for a micro-SD slot as well with 128GB capacity. There’s a 13 megapixel rear camera with Æ’/2.2 aperture and a five megapixel front camera. It has a 2870 mAh battery. Meizu m3 runs Flyme 5.1 OS based on Android 5.1. This is a dual-SIM smartphone with support for 4G, VolTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. Compared to the Meizu m2, not much has changed on the specs front with the new phone, other than octa-core processor and the new 3GB RAM+32GB storage SKU. We’ll have to wait and see if Meizu launches both versions of the m3 in India.
