Microsoft's new AI-powered Bing and Edge, your web copilot, are reinventing search.

Better search

The new Bing gives you a better version of the familiar search experience. It shows you results that are more relevant for simple things like sports scores, stock prices, and the weather. It also has a new sidebar that shows you answers that are more in-depth if you want them.

Complete answers

Bing looks at results from all over the internet to find and summarize the answer you want. For instance, you don't have to scroll through a lot of results to find detailed instructions on how to substitute eggs for another ingredient in a cake you're baking right now.

A new chat experience

By asking for additional details, clarity, and ideas, the chat experience gives you the ability to refine your search until you find the complete answer you are looking for. Links are available so you can immediately take action on your decisions.

A creative spark

Sometimes you need more than just a response; you need inspiration. You can get the content you need from the new Bing. It can help you prepare for a job interview, create a quiz for trivia night, write an email, create a 5-day itinerary for your dream vacation to Hawaii with links to book your travel and accommodations, and more. Additionally, the new Bing cites all of its sources, allowing you to view links to the web content it cites.

New Microsoft Edge experience

The Edge browser has been updated with new AI features, a new design, and two new features: Write and converse. You can ask for a summary of a lengthy financial report in the Edge Sidebar to get the key points. You can then use the chat function to ask for a comparison to the financials of a competitor and have it automatically put in a table. By giving Edge a few prompts to get you started, you can also ask Edge to assist you in writing content, such as a LinkedIn post. After that, you can ask it to assist you in updating the post's tone, format, and length. Edge can adapt to your current page based on its understanding.
