Xiaomi Mi A2 Will be Launch Soon in China With 18:9 Display & Dual Cameras

Xiaomi surprised everyone by launching the Mi A1 Android One smartphone. With the aggressive price tag and bloatware-free stock Android UI, the device was well received in the market. With the market shifting towards 18:9 display technology, the users are now more interested in the new Redmi 5 Note Pro with 18:9 display than the Mi A1 with old-fashioned 16:9 display. However, a new Xiaomi device with the model number M1804D2SC is now listed on TENAA.

It is expected to be soon launched in China as Mi 6X, the successor to last year’s Mi 5X. The Mi 5X is the same Mi A1 that was launched in the international markets. Now, the upcoming Mi 6X might launch in the international markets as Mi A2. Just like the Mi A1, we also expect the Mi A2 to be launched as Android One device. Talking about the device, the design looks almost similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

However, the Mi A2 (a.k.a Mi 6X) comes with the metal unibody design with curved Antenna bands spread across the top and bottom edges. The vertically aligned dual rear cameras can be seen on the top left corner. There is also a circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge. On the front is the same 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio as seen on the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
